About GIF files: Animated GIFs have a maximum of 256 colors per frame and do not contain sound. This converter uses a fixed 256-color palette and standard GIF89a encoding, so colors may look less detailed than the source video. GIF files can also be larger than short, efficiently compressed videos. Processing happens locally in your browser.

How to Convert Video to GIF
